What's the Word?

Project SASS (Students are Sun Safe) is a program offered by the University of Arizona Skin Cancer Institute for middle and high school students.  It aims to enhance sun safe behaviors and skin cancer awareness in the Tucson community.

University of Arizona students from various departments (Public Health, Pharmacy, Education, Medical, Nursing, etc) are trained by the Skin Cancer Institute to present Project SASS at schools and at community events.

Presentations take about 60 minutes and include hands-on activities.

To invite Project SASS to your school or community events, email Eden (eellison@email.arizona.edu) or Aimee (wiggs@email.arizona.edu).
